The RTD semi-automatic stretch wrapper models represent the latest in rotary tower stretch packaging technology. These stretch wrapper systems can be loaded by pallet jack or lift truck, no ramps required. Because the RT model stretch wrappers rotate the film carriage around a stationary load, they are ideal for unitizing even the most difficult loads, including those that are extremely heavy, light, fragile or unstable.

This Flex RTD Series has no maximum load weight capacity. For ease of motion, this pallet wrapper has a precision ring bearing drive system and a tower mounted obstacle sensing system. As Orion keeps safety as a requirement, the RTD Series has a structural steel construction for durability and security.

With several available options like extended base or mast, or 30” film carriage, you can be have your Flex machine built to do exactly what you need it to do.

The Flex Series high profile deluxe is easy to install with a new dual turntable option for an existing machine. Other advantages of the Flex Series high profile deluxe include its low cost alternative to purchasing a second machine, its separate turntable base design with a plug-in for a second turntable, making moving the machine from location to location very fast and easy, and its identical turntable chassis to original stretch wrapper, which enables seamless integration.

Low Profile Semi-Automatic Stretch Wrapping System Sentry LP

The feature-rich Sentry LP or its high profile sibling the Sentry HP are on a level of their own when it comes to entry-level semi-automatic wrappers. Both the Sentry LP & HP utilize Orion's signature rugged steel construction and durable AC motors, and integrate standard features like a load stabilizing 200% powered pre-stretch, which reduces film consumption to about half of manually wrapped loads, while increasing stability.

Plus, Sentry wrappers are equipped with user-friendly features like the IntelleVue touchscreen display that allows operators to access and quickly change wrap counts, adjust turntable speed, carriage speed, film tension, and access stored recipes, user-manuals and more. Also, standard on the Sentry machines are the load height sensing photo eye and Orion's unique RevoLogic™ technology, which delivers a precise count of each revolution of the turntable, and stops the turntable in the same position after each cycle.

Rotary Tower Automatic Pallet Wrapper Flex RTA

The RTA automatic stretch wrapping system is the fastest way to boost your end-of-line packaging efficiency by eliminating the need for operators to manually attach the film tail to the load, then cut and secure the film tail at the end of the cycle. The RTA stretch wrapper automatically performs these functions so your operators simply place the load, pull a handing lanyard to start the cycle, and attend to other duties. When they return the load is securely wrapped and ready to be removed.

With no maximum load weight capacity, your product needs are easily met. there is a floor mounted control panel for flexibility along with the structural steel construction for durability.

A start cycle with hanging lanyard comes standard on the Flex RTA Series. A tower mounted obstacle sensing system is available for a more controlled, safe environment. And for precision, there is a precision ring bearing drive system available.

Portable Automatic Stretch Wrapping System Flex HPA High Profile Automatic

The machine will perform the entire wrap cycle automatically without the need for an operator to tie the film tail to the load at the beginning of the cycle, and detach it at the end. The Flex Series HPA reduces labor with its automatic cycle. With forklift portable from front or rear, this system is designed for full function with no operator necessary. The maximum load weight capacity for the Flex HPA Series is 5,000 pounds. With the 48-inch by 48-inch turntable for load up to 50-inch by 50-inch, this HPA differs from the available LPA Series. With an octagonal turntable for easy forklift loading, the HPA Flex Series ensure product safety and security.

Lo-Pro Drag Chain Conveyor

The low profile, heavy-duty, three-strand chain conveyor with a pass height of only four inches, allowing for convenient loading of multiple loads by either hand-powered pallet jacks electric “walkies”, or forklift.

The new Lo-Pro Drag Chain conveyor is ideal for beverage distribution and other facilities where multiple pallet loads are carried by one vehicle, increasing efficiency and productivity. The operator simply brings the load to the infeed zone of the conveyor then lowers it onto the chain drive. The machine’s logic control then takes over staging the loads and conveying them one at a time into the wrapping zone of the stretch wrapper.

The Lo-Pro Drag Chain is the ideal companion for the MA-DX Rotary Tower Automatic Stretch Wrapper. The two work together as the ultimate pallet wrapping system for high volume applications. The 60 feet-per-minute Lo-Pro conveyor keeps pace with the MA-DX’s 28 RPM counter-balanced rotary arm wrapper.

Cornerboard Applicator RCBA Robotic Corner Board Applicator

The new Orion Robotic Corner Board Applicator, or RCBA, is the fastest and most efficient way to apply corner boards to pallet loads. Using robotics to pick and place the boards vastly increases the precision and simplicity of the process as compared to systems that place boards by mechanical means. Corner boards are attached to loads on the infeed section while transporting in to the wrapping area. Attachment methods can be tailored to customer specifications. Current methods include hot melt glue or nitrogen charged adhesive to produce a foam type adhesive for protecting the corrugate from damage when the boards are removed.

Manual Corner Board Applicator MCBA

This option is available on the Orion FA turntable automatic system and is designed for customers who require operators to apply cornerboards to pallet loads in a safe and efficient manner.

The manual corner board applicator is designed to ensure precision and efficiency in the packaging process. This system allows for operators to manually apply cornerboards to pallet loads in a safe and effective manner. Benefits of using this machine include added safety in the production room, a slow mode for operator safety, and more.

When pallets are placed onto a turntable, the operator stands in the operator booth. Slowly, the pallet load will begin to spin so that each cornerboard can be manually placed. Once this is complete, the turntable stretch wrapper speeds up. When complete, the pallet is sent forward on the conveyor.

Rotary Tower with 3-Station Stand RT 3 Station

Orion's RT semi-automatic rotary tower wrapper, can be mounted to an optional 2-way or 3-way stand to give customers one extra or two extra wrapping areas. The option is available in both manual and motorized version.

This machine is designed to allow industries to maximize their time. By adding up to a 3-way stand, efficiency is achieved. The RT 3 Station is ideal for spaces with medium to high volume. Features on this system include high speeds, versatility, added options to maximize use, and more.

Six Sided Stretch Wrapping Machine AXIS

In certain industries, especially printing, total six-sided protection of pallet loads is desired for total product protection and to "lock" the load effectively to the pallet. Steel or poly strapping is commonly used, however many customers would like to eliminate the high cost, high maintenance and recycling issues of strapping.

That's why Orion has developed a system based on a large ring Constellation orbital wrapper combined with an FA (or MA) automatic stretch wrapping system. Customers have realized greatly increased up time while dramatically lowering total pallet packaging costs with this system.

Roll Wrapper RW-44

Orion's RW-44 is a heavy-duty semi-automatic wrapping system designed to stretch wrap roll product by turning the roll on steel blocking rollers while spinning the product on a 14 RPM turntable. This creates a "cocoon" wrap pattern and provides complete protection and unitization of the roll. Maximum load size is 60" Diameter x 65" Length. Maximum load weight is 6,000 pounds.

To ensure that all product sizes and shapes are accommodated in the packaging process, Orion offers the RW-44 in its stretch wrapper product line. This machine is specifically designed for product that needs to be roll wrapped.

In addition to the many features on the RW-44, Orion has created this machine to ensure safety during the packaging process. Safety features include a pneumatically operated shaft to keep the turntable in place, turntable support, structural steel framing, and more.

Orion's automatics systems come standard with industry leading CAT-3 electrical and multi-zone safety features that help improve operator safety and performance. Separate CSA approved, UL listed and NEMA 12 rated high and low voltage panels prevent unnecessary exposure to high voltage components. The multi-zone access feature stops only the process zone, so the operator can switch out film while the product stages on the infeed or continues on the exit conveyors. A main emergency E-stop feature is incorporated and will completely shut down the system, in addition the optional E-stops can be added throughout the line.

As part of Cat 3 Safety Rating the FA uses separate high and low side electrical cabinets (NEMA-12 and UL rated) that not only reduce noise, but allow service techs to access that work space more safely. Plus, you'll find full surround 8 foot high steel mesh fencing with interlocked access points as well as infeed and exit light curtains with electronic muting.

Rotary Tower Automatic Stretch Wrapper with Conveyance - RTC

Featuring a standard 18" pass height, the RTC is a rotary tower automatic wrapper that integrates with new or existing conveyance. It's a cost-effective option to quickly upgrade an existing line to automatic performance.

The RTC is fully automatic, and attaches the stretch film at the cycle start, and cuts it at the end. The forklift operator simply places the pallet-load on the infeed conveyor and pulls a lanyard switch while moving away to collect the next load.
